Rather than doing quick pages this time, I did some "Short Stacks". I think you'll LOVE working with these as soon as you get the hang of it. You get this great "stacked" background, and all you have to do is add your photos, title & journaling, and then layer some additional elements over them to help them "blend in". They provide a "short cut" to getting your layouts done! Give my Short Stacks a try...you'll love them!

The Creative Team has out done themselves again with this set...so many gorgeous layouts that come from the heart. I'll show just a few of them full size. Be sure to go to the gallery and leave them some love!

New from Fayette - Time4Dreams

Time4Dreams is the second release in my Time4Me Series. We all have dreams, whether it’s to travel to exotic places, get an education, or even to just get through a difficult time that we’re facing. We need to make those dreams part of our stories that we leave behind. That’s the point of my Time4Me series..to create pages about US and help our friends and family know who we REALLY are. The gorgeous elements, papers and wordart in this kit will help you tell that story in a beautiful way!

Although I'm always amazed at the talent of these ladies, there are times when the stories that they share on their layouts move me more than I can say. That happened several times with the layouts created for this set, but I'd like to feature one layout that literally moved me to tears. This layout by Mother Bear is stunning to look at. Her placement of the elements, and the balance that she's created just draw your eye in. It has an almost whimsical feel. But, the most impressive part of this layout to me is the journaling. This is EXACTLY what I hoped that this Time4Me series of designs would encourage. Take time to read it. It may just change the way you create your pages in the future.

New Designs, New Series & iNSD Sale!

Something has really been bugging me for a while. Although I rarely like pictures of myself, I find that I'm becoming more frustrated because I go to family gatherings, take tons of pics, get home & put them on my comp - that's when I find that I'm not in ANY of the photos! Granted, I'm a work-a-holic, so I spend a lot more time working than I do playing. But still, I want my kids and grandkids to remember that I WAS HERE...that I had a life, goals and dreams and that I was an important part of their lives (and yes, I know you can remember that without pics..but hey, I'm trying to get a point across here!) I'm sure lots of you have the same frustration. It's time for us to get out from behind the camera - hand it off to someone and have them take photos of US. We need to tell OUR STORIES. - we need to create projects about the things that we love - we need to be DOING the THINGS THAT WE LOVE. We, as women (and a few of our male friends), tend to put our needs behind those of others. That's a good quality sometimes...but hey, we all need some Time4Me!

So, with that in mind, and with the help of our fantastic CT Lead, Sheri/scrapshabby, I've come up with a new monthly series of projects that is going to help each of us tell OUR stories.

This week I'm releasing my first set of designs in this series. I'm so happy with how it turned out...sometimes things just click! I hope you'll love it too, and that you'll do your best to find some Time4Me (both in the PBP shop...and in your lives)!
