New Tutorials and FAQ's!

We have had many emails over the past three months asking for more information on how to use our designs. After answering dozens of emails, we decided to consolidate the information and post it on our website so that it was available to everyone.

On our FAQ's page, we added a new "Getting Started" category, that explains the basics of what you do after you download some of our designs. To get more information than what is offered in our FAQ's, visit our tutorials page. We just added three great new tutorials to our website:

Creating your first Click Page (or Desktop Calendar)

Creating a layout in Photoshop

Using digital designs in MS Word

For those of you who have been hesitant to jump into the "digital scrapping" world, this will give you some direction and information.

For those of you who are leaning toward buying the MMS software, we have added a section to the Polaroid MMS area of the FAQ's page that explains how to import our designs into the software. We know that you all have LOTS of digi stuff, and we want you to be able to use it, regardless of what program you use.

So, please feel free to visit the FAQ's and our Tutorials and let us know how we can improve (lol..I'm sure I could improve in the area of typos...I hope you don't find many, but there are probably a couple in there somewhere!) Keep the feedback coming. That's how we help our website grow!

Thanks for the help. But could you also include info for the LifeTimez desktop and Memory Mixer software. I have spent a lot of money with LifeTimez desktop and can't afford to buy a new program. I would love to use your designs better.

Thanks!

Monica,
The instructions for LifeTimez and Memory Mixer would be basically the same as the instructions for using our designs in MMS.

For instance, when you launch the program and select what method you want to use, in MMS, you choose "Design Your Own." I believe the option is called "From Scratch" in LifeTimez. I don't own Memory Mixer and I don't have LifeTimez installed on my comp anymore, so I can't check for you, but I "think" that's close :)

Anyway, you should be able to follow the basic steps we give under the question "How do I use other digital designs that I already own in the MMS software?", in the FAQ section under MMS. You'll have to adapt for differences in terminology between the programs, but the process should be basically the same.
